About Moose

Meet Moose (3-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix) ��%BD��%BD%90 Moose is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix who thrives in calm indoor environments. He is fully vaccinated and potty trained. Moose loves cuddling, belly rubs, and peanut butter flavored treats. He does best inside the home, where he is a couch potato and playful. He is also very fond of dog parks and loves playing with other dogs. Moose has lived with another small and large dog as well as children. He knows basic commands such as sit and stay. Moose experiences anxiety outdoors and is leash reactive. When overstimulated and excited, he may bark, lunge, or growl at unfamiliar people, but he has never bitten anyone. He is friendly with new people once introduced calmly. Moose is not leash trained and will need continued positive-reinforcement training or a trainer experienced with reactive dogs. Moose would do best with a patient, experienced owner in a quieter environment with a backyard or access to a dog park. A rehoming fee applies to ensure a safe home. He comes with his crate, toys, brush, dry shampoo, records and his personal book bag with his picture and name on it.
