Skipper is a smart, athletic, ball-obsessed boy who thrives with structure and would love an active home where he can play, train, and be part of the routine. He's high energy and happiest when he's fetching, learning, and working for treats-he's very food-motivated and already knows his basic commands (sit, down, off, etc.). He's crate trained (we now use it only when we're gone more than a couple hours), does well on leash most of the time, and has been great with other dogs at the dog park. Skipper would do best in an adult-only home or with older, dog-savvy kids, and we're looking for a committed adopter who can continue his training and provide clear boundaries. We love him dearly, but after a bite incident involving a small child, we need to place him in a home that's a safer fit-one where Skipper can succeed and be loved for the wonderful dog he is.
