About Meatball

Meet MeatBall! I recently got her on New Years from someone on facebook. Unfortunately I wasn't told everything. Let me start by saying she is VERY SWEET. She is definitely a Velcro dog and will follow you everywhere. Thankfully she does not have separation anxiety, but does love to be glued to your hip. She walks pretty good on the leash. She is pee pad trained, but recently I have gotten her to go potty outside! big wins! She absolutely loves the cat. Now here is where things get kinda messy. She is absolutely TERRIFIED of a leash and collar. She will run, and hide and shake. She started coming to me to put it on, but it's taken work. Now here's the heartbreaking part. I have 3 kids and my partner. Most of us have high pitched voices. One of my 12 year olds has a very deep voice. She will growl at him, and has lunged at him twice. When he is laying on the couch and just chilling, she will come up to him for pets and gives him kisses. My partner and I think she was abused by a man. I had taken her for a walk and there was a man outside with a deep voice, and while she didn't growl, she started shaking, tail tucked between her legs and she darted to go back into the house. Due to her growling at my son and lunging at him, we are not the perfect home I want us to be for her, and this little girl deserves the world. She needs to be in a woman only household, and I would say no kids. She would do great for someone who wants a friend 26/8. She is definitely a great alert dog! Please contact me for more pictures.
