UPDATE 01/06: NOW ON 'URGENT NEEDS' LIST!!! precursor to euthanasia alert list! Please help and let's get Bundy out safely! Video: https://fb.watch/Ex8Y-OXo4Z/?mibextid=wwXIfr&fs=e Bundy lost his best friend and now he's looking for a new one. Two dogs were brought into North Central together as 'strays' in late September - they were buddies Bundy & Stewie. Stewie was the small confident one of the bunch, Bundy was bigger but would always follow Stewie's lead. The pups were even kenneled together until one day when Stewie was adopted, leaving Bundy to navigate the intimidating shelter all alone. Bundy was curious of volunteers but somewhat wary at first. With frequent outings his confidence has grown and he has become more courageous. He'll bravely sit up on a ledge near someone he trusts, chew on a kong with peanut butter and he always perks up when cheese is involved. Bundy has been in lots of playgroups with larger dogs, 16 to be exact. He has been called gentle/dainty, tolerant, social, playful with female dogs, can be sexually motivated, some male dogs can be pushy with him. Bundy has gained a lot more confidence and now he is always eager to go out for a walk, pawing up on his kennel door excitedly. He is curious and inquisitive. We can only imagine how much more Bundy will open up once he is in a loving, trusting home with a person who will go slow and let him regain his confidence again. Please consider giving the best holiday gift of all to this good shelter dog in need - ADOPT OR FOSTER BUNDY! VISIT NORTH CENTRAL to meet him. Bundy, #A2223935, 2 yrs old, 59 lbs, male.
