Hello Adopters! Fischer is a 3 year old cardigan welsh corgi. He loves the outdoors, spending quality time with his humans, and taking good naps once his energy is out! Fischer can be pretty chatty (corgi thing!) and has a big personality. He is truly such an amazing dog and it breaks our hearts to have to re-home him. Fischer is fully crate trained. He walks very well on a leash and knows the following commands- sit, down, leave it, touch, find it, and heel. Why we are re-homing him: After welcoming our first child last year Fischer's behavior towards other dogs in his space has become quite aggressive. We have another dog in our home that Fischer is not getting along with. Unfortunately he does have issues with resource guarding food/toys/people from our other pet resulting in him fighting with our other dog. We have tried trainers, in-home training visits, etc for a year and nothing is changing. We think that it is best for Fischer to live in a home with no other dogs, cats, or small children and with a person familiar with the breed. Fischer does not exhibit resource guarding behavior or aggression towards humans which is why we think in a different environment he would thrive and be such an amazing companion for someone who is familiar with the behaviors of a reactive dog. **Disclaimer- We will not be sending Fischer to a home that uses shock collars, prong collars, or any form of training that inflicts harm on an animal.
