Wookie loves women and older children quickly, but needs a bit more time to accept new men. He does not do well with young children (preschool and younger) though. He loves hiking and can do well off-leash. He can be a good inside or outside dog and is a good guard dog. He is very loyal. He will need a strong owner who understands how to establish himself/herself as the alpha without breaking his protective instincts and strong spirit. He has been a great dog and companion, but we are moving to Africa and are unable to take him with us. He is about 100# and is 5 years old.
