He is a heeler mix, approximately 2-2.5 years old. I found him abandoned outside nearly a year ago and took him in to ensure his safety. I later formally adopted him and have done my best to provide stability and care. Unfortunately, since then I have experienced a job loss and a significant change in my housing situation, and I am no longer able to properly care for him or meet his needs. He is a very sweet, intelligent dog with a lot of potential. He does well with my other dog and has shown he can coexist peacefully in a familiar environment. However, he does need additional training and socialization. He tends to bark excessively at unfamiliar dogs and has not had much exposure to close quarters with dogs other than my own. This decision has been extremely difficult, but my priority is ensuring he is safe and placed in an environment where he can receive the time, training, and stability he deserves. The adoption fee is $200 and is intended to support a responsible, long-term placement.
