Cash has come a long way, and it really shows the moment you meet him. This once very shy boy now walks calmly right up to greet you at his kennel door, ready to see what you're all about. He's easy to leash up, walks nicely without pulling, and carries himself with a quiet, easygoing presence that makes spending time with him feel peaceful and simple. He's still a gentle, sensitive soul at heart, but his confidence has grown so much. Cash readily accepts pets and will happily stay right by your side soaking up attention for as long as you're willing to give it. He's so gentle when taking treats from your hand. He may still flinch at big or sudden movements, but that's nothing compared to how skittish he was when he first arrived at FBCAS. He doesn't know any tricks just yet, but he's attentive and observant, content to quietly take in the world around him. Cash has a low energy level and is perfectly happy to entertain himself, but he's grown to appreciate human company as well. He's done well around other dogs in shelter playgroups - he's calm, if a bit socially awkward - and has proven that he can happily coexist with them, even if he's not the life of the party. Cash has come so far, and the progress he's made is something special! He'd thrive with someone patient and kind to help him continue to build confidence. If you're looking for a calm, sweet companion who will quietly blossom by your side, Cash might just be your guy.
