Koda is a retriever-Newfie mix that was adopted from a rescue organization in Texas in 2021. He is approximately 6 years old and weighs 70 lb. He's a beautiful dog, fully house trained, walks well on leash, and is happy sleeping on the couch as long as he gets 2 30-minute walks day. He shares our home with another dog and a cat, but he would be happiest as an only dog and does not get along with our cat at all. He is extremely sweet to people and enjoys greeting them once he's allowed to give them a sniff. He is generally calm but will bark at delivery drivers once they pull into the driveway. He is terrific with kids and adults, and likes to play with most other medium and large dogs. However, he is triggered specifically by small black and white dogs, such as Boston terriers. He has recently become aggressive with our neighbor's terrier despite our training efforts. He needs an experienced owner who has time to continue training to reduce this territory related aggression. This is why we are rehoming him.
