Hello! My name is PUFFY! I love car rides and walks in the park! I also love picking up my kiddo at school! My kids love it when I do that for them! Then we cuddle in the car all the way home! I'm a Mini-Rex/Cinnamon-type, and about 4 months old-(soon to be grown up!). I'm around 3.5lbs, and am the smallest of my siblings! I'm a boy, so when my kids aren't with me, I enjoy hanging out with my Cinnamon Daddy and my silky black brother Riley, whom I love very much (my black bro is posted on this site, too!). I really need a new home this year, perhaps with another bunny or with one of my siblings, so I can have my OWN human! I'd be happy outdoors (with a cozy hutch and exercise pen), or indoors (WHOOHOO!! Air conditioning in the summer- Wouldn't that be nice!). I'm learning to use the litter box in my pen- something that was very easy for both my mom and dad to learn! Hopefully I take after them! My entire family get along very well together, and my parents love each other very much. They also love us, so we are all very cuddly, affectionate bunnies! I think I'd especially love being with a sibling in a new home, if you had room for both of us, and wanted us to keep each other happy while you're busy! We bunnies are VERY communal animals! Do you have room in your home for somebunny like me? My family likes 'open' type adoption so that my kids can get occasional pics of me in my new home. This would comfort their hearts, as they will really miss me! Well, thanks for listening-that's my story! Oh, one last thing, my parents are fairly open to whatever new home God provides for me, but they do like to screen potential buyers with a phone call and will probably want to know about any potential homes and the company I might keep there (are there other pets? How much room will I get?). The adoption fee might be waived in some cases, but it's there to help finance the expenses of owning my entire litter of siblings! Well, God bless your spring, and God bless us all - everyone! ----------------------------------- Here's a thorough list of bunny info, if you're interested in adopting Puffy! This list is not a prerequisite for adoption, but it can help you think through what our bunny is used to. ------------ Puffy is handled often by our girls, ages 9 & 11, but he's most attached to our teenage son who spends hours with him! He's a very smart, brave bunny with an outgoing personality (more than his quiet & thoughtful brother, Riley). (Both bunnies are listed on this site.) He'll eventually bond with whoever spends the most time with him! RABBITS ARE WIRED FOR COMMUNITY!!! We feel that bunnies thrive most when they can bond and live with another bunny, especially if they live outdoors. INDOOR bunnies might be ok alone, IF they live closely with their human family. IF YOU HAVE A BUSY FAMILY WITH NO ONE WHO STAYS/WORKS AT HOME DURING THE DAY, DO YOUR BUNNY A FAVOR AND GET HIM A BUNNY BUDDY TO BOND WITH-THEY WILL LIVE YEARS LONGER AND BE MUCH HAPPIER! -Most kids 10 & older can easily learn to safely handle a bunny & eventually be trusted alone with it. -Is there a parent who is happy to handle the bunny & supervise/instruct children until they're trained enough to handle him alone? (A parent who loves bunnies is a must!!) WILL HE LIVE INDOORS? -Whether outside or inside, Puffy needs free access to water, hay & pellets. He also gets a small daily 'salad' of fresh greens at bedtime (things like clover, cabbage, teensy apple slices, carrot tops, green leaf lettuce-NO ICEBERG!). -Does the family mind having Timothy hay in Puffy's living space? (Fresh hay can be fed daily in small amounts in a confined area, like Puffy's 2'x2' bedroom, to minimize mess! Some folks feed hay near or in their litter box! Some bunnies might tend to poo near where they eat-but ours use a litter box on the far side of the pen!!) -How many other pets are in the home? (What size & how friendly?) Our bunnies are usually ok with dogs/cats, but is your pet safe with bunnies?? -Will you always supervise your other pets with a bunny?? -Is the family ok with bunny proofing an area in the home, for Puffy to free roam safely (without interference from dogs or other dangers) for a few hours on most days? OR OUTSIDE? -If the bunny lives outside, he needs adequate space and shade in summer (& a FAN in temps above 80!!), & warmth in winter. (Temps below freezing require insulation of the bunny sleeping area, and maybe a heating unit. Ask us about this! We can help! Living space inside or outdoors should be about 12' square feet with a 2' x 2' sleeping/hiding space attached. Thanks so much for your time & interest!! -After going over this (extensive!!) list, if you feel Puffy is a good fit for your family, please CALL US (if you prefer, text or email first, to SET A TIME TO CALL US) & we can send you more pics of our bunny, discuss the above questions, and choose a day for you to meet Puffy!!
