About Harley

Harley is a beautiful, highly intelligent female Belgian Malinois we rescued at 7 months old. She is now fully grown, athletic, and thrives when she has structure and purpose. She knows basic obedience commands including sit, down, stay, place, and roll over. She is extremely smart and eager to engage. Harley has a lot of energy and absolutely loves swimming - she would be thrilled in a home with access to water or an active outdoor lifestyle. Harley is naturally protective and bonds strongly with her person. She tends to prefer women and would likely do best in a home with a confident female handler. Because of her protective nature and drive, she would thrive with someone experienced in working breeds, particularly Belgian Malinois or similar high-drive dogs. Harley had a litter of 10 puppies after an accidental breeding while kenneled with our male. We kept two of the puppies, and as they have matured and grown larger than her, she has become increasingly jealous and would benefit from being the only dog in the home where she can have undivided attention. She is not an apartment dog and needs space, structure, exercise, and consistent leadership. In the right home, she will be an incredibly loyal, devoted companion. We are committed to finding the best possible placement for her and will be selective to ensure it's the right fit.
