Introducing Rufus. This stray boy was never reclaimed ( shocker ����) and he needs to start the hunt for his forever home. Around 50lb and thought to be a boxer mix he is putting on weight great with his foster family and his neuter will be scheduled asap. Rufus will leave us utd on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and hes already hw tested negative and atarted all his monthly preventionas. His hair is growing back nicely. Rufus: A Gentleman looking for his Person. Rufus is well behaved, sweet & unusually smart. He knows basic commands like sit, come, heel etc. He walks well on leash or off. Rufus badly wants to come inside and sit at your side. He isn't aggressive towards our male dog, but doesn't want to play. Rufus is on the older side probably 6-7, so he's ready to settle in for the quiet life. He doesn't require lots of active attention, he just enjoys being close. His ideal home would likely be with a woman who wants a companion by her side; a gentleman watchdog (all bark no bite). Rufus does not tolerate being left alone in a crate, he needs his person close by. He would be happiest with a doggy door, a large fenced yard, and a nice daily walk with his person.
