NAME: Spikette - Code Red! ***** CODE RED! Out of time! Foster or Adopter Needed by 1/9! ***** Spikette and her mom were surrendered to a very rural NC shelter just days before Christmas due to her owners getting divorced. Sadly, Santa did not grant her Christmas wish of getting out of this very scary place and into a safe and loving home, but we're hoping the new year is going to change her luck because the clock is running out FAST. This little Jack Russell Terrier mix is 1.5 y/o and apx. 40 lbs. According to shelter staff, Spikette is very sweet and excitedly awaits affection in her kennel. She has shown no aggression towards anyone she meets - dogs or humans. Please don't let her story end at just over a year old in a small rural shelter where she has already been separated from her family and her mama!
