About Kingston

Kingston is a house-trained, AKC Registered, neutered young adult German Shepherd who has completed multiple rounds of obedience training and responds well to structure and routine. He prefers calm, adult environments and tends to bond most closely with women. He is not comfortable around children and would do best in a child-free home. Kingston does well with some dogs but requires slow, proper introductions. He likes cats and coexists well with them. He is up to date on all vaccinations and does well when boarded. For the past two years, we have worked extensively with training and management to help Kingston adjust to living with children, but despite consistent effort, it has not been successful. Due to a growing family and pregnancy, we are seeking a more suitable long-term environment for him. Currently, Kingston lives in a finished, climate-controlled basement and spends the day with an adult working from home. He is brought into shared spaces only when children are not present. He deserves a home where he can fully integrate without ongoing stress. Kingston would thrive with an experienced, patient adult owner who can provide structure, consistency, and a calm home environment
