Ah! Hi, my name is Eveline! What? You want to know about me? Hm... Okay... Well, my dad got me from the Nebraska Humane Society two years ago when I was only a year old! They found me as a stray, so my history before my dad got me is unknown. Don't let my history as a former stray cat deter you, though! I'm a champion at the indoor cat lifestyle! What? You don't believe me?! Well, let me tell you all about it! Sunny windows? I know the perfect way to nap in them. Playing with toys? Got it covered, and I bet you've never seen anyone catch a wand toy the way I do. Asking about your day? I can do that and more, in fact I'll talk your ear off if I get the chance! Cuddling with people? Well, maybe I'm a little more shy with this unless I know you really well... But, when I warm up to someone and make them mine, I love to cuddle with them! My dad says I'm an amazing napping buddy and that when I cuddle him he just feels so comfortable and cozy he doesn't want to get up. Huh? What's that? Why am I looking for a new home, since mine seems to work fine? Oh, that's easy. You see, my dad and his friends thought maybe I was lonely after my late best friend died, so they tried to get me a new kitten friend or two. But, they were wrong! I prefer to be the one in charge of the house! I don't like to share my toys, food, treats, or napping spots, and I don't like them! I don't want to share the house or my people with any other animal, dog or cat, and that's why I'm looking for a new home to call my own. But, for as much as I want a new home with a person who's only mine, I have to admit I'm shy in new situations... I also take a while to warm up. You just have to be patient! I promise when I'm comfortable I'm everything I said I was before! As long as you and anyone else in your home respects me and my space at first, I'll warm up just fine. Though, a crunchy treat or churu may help sway me to your side sooner than later... Hmm... Well, I think that's it for me! I have a window to nap in, and maybe a conversation to have with my dad when I next see him. If you want to meet me, you'll have to talk with my dad's friend and then have to meet me where I'll see if you pass muster! It might not be easy, but if you think you're the perfect fit for me maybe I'll consider your home. I'll see you around! Or not. It's up to you. -- Eveline is up to date on her rabies and FVRCP vaccinations until 02/13/2027. She is spayed and has been microchipped. She will come with a container of her dry food, in addition to a water fountain, her two slow feeder bowls, her wand toy, her tunnel, and the cat beds that are hers.
