About Jackson

We love this dog so much but he has bit one of our children while being pet (unprovoked), and lunged at a different child of ours who didn't even touch him. We no longer trust him with the kids and can't live in this heightened state of anxiety. Jackson is a brindle colored plott hound and is 5.5 years old. He is a lovely dog who up until this fall had no issues at all. He loves being outside, naps, and is super chill. He sleeps in a kennel at night, has never had an accident in the house, and honestly stays on the first floor of our house due to preference (he can do stairs just fine, we have them down to the yard). He loves walks but is extremely strong--I prefer to walk him on a waist belt in case he decides to try to get a squirrel, I can anchor myself easier. He would be perfect for a single person or a couple without kids. We want to be very clear and honest about his one bite history. Needs no kids and a fenced in yard.
