About Whiskey

Urgent situation: unfortunately I have had two homes fall through for him, and I need him adopted by Tuesday this week or I'm going to have to take him to a shelter and I really don't want to do that! Whiskey is a 4 year old 80+ pound German Shepherd with a high energy level. Coming from a family home with 2 kids and a Chihuahua in the home who tolerates him. And he seems to leave her alone. He loves to play and run in the big back yard with his toys and balls. I am going to be having surgery next week after recent cancer diagnosis. And he is a lot to handle so we are needing to find him a new home where he will be loved and played with. He's not really around smaller kids, he's not really good around other dogs and does bark at other big dogs so the comparability with other dogs is unknown and may not be recommended. He likes to chase the birds and rabbits so definitely a hunter. But he's also very loving and wants snuggles and is also very smart. Just needs someone to work with him. Please only reach out if you have the time and energy to care for a big energetic loving friend. I have a crate, lots of toys and his blankets to help make it a comfortable transition. We would want to see where he would be living and make sure he will be taken care of. We love him very much but sadly have to find him a new family to love him.
