Buddy needs a new foster ASAP, or someone to adopt him. We are currently keeping him and another dog in the house separate and it's stressful on all of us. Buddy is a 6 year old Labrador Mix, 65 pounds, neutered, potty trained, crate trained (in an environment he trusts), vaccinated, freshly cleaned teeth and ready to meet his forever family! He is happy and a bit shy, needs slow intros. He loves attention, playing, and relaxing. He is flexible and patient in the morning. Most days, he gets a walk and/or 1-2 fetch sessions. He gets a PB kong when the humans leave the house. Without it, he has more separation anxiety. He used to howl when left alone, but doesn't do that anymore. He sleeps on his bed on the floor, but he would be happy sleeping in the bed. He is house-trained, knows 'Sit', 'Lay down/Down', and is learning 'No begging' and 'Out of the Kitchen'. He has been crate-trained, but hasn't been crated in his foster home. He would do best in a quiet home with people who understand and respect him. He has lived with other dogs but would do best as an Only Dog, as he resource guards a bit. He likes kids but would do best in a home with no kids, or kids old enough to understand and respect him. His prey drive is high, so no cats.
