Banks is a high energy, lovable, 3-legged Border Heeler. He loves people, other dogs, and he LOVES balls. He is an expert at catch, loves to run, and loves to cuddle with his humans. When Banks was 2 years old, he lost one of his rear legs to an accident. However, it did not slow him down or dampen his spirits. We have been committed to his training and exercise needs for the last 5 years. We love him dearly and are only considering this option after many many months of careful deliberation. All of these amazing qualities also make it extremely hard for him to live in our family home with our 2 year old child. He ruins kid's toys, barks at the vacuum and the microwave, steals food off the counters, and has started to bully our older 12 year old dog. We aren't comfortable having him in the house with our child because of his unpredictability. We hike him for 5 miles daily, and it's still not enough exercise for him. We are now expecting our second child, and we cannot keep up with Banks' needs. We want to find him a forever home where he can get plenty of exercise and be happy and cared for properly.
