Jack has a heated shelter , but he really wants to come inside and is very lonely. He has feline immunodeficiency virus and, when he has gotten inside our 4-cat house, he's been very aggressive, which is why we think he's best suited as an indoor only, only cat. We have spotted him on our security cameras for about three years, but he's been extremely elusive until recently when he has begun to trust us. Now he's very affectionate. We think he belonged to someone once, as he had a collar on in the beginning. When we finally got a good look at him, we saw that the collar was very tight. We tried to trap him for a long time and then the collar was gone. We've asked all the neighbors and nobody has claimed him. He can occasionally use his claws when he gets overstimulated, but he's very smart and responds to the word 'no'. But for this reason we don't think he's suited to be with young children. He's had all of his vaccinations, been dewormed and de-flea'd/ ticked and he's been neutered. We will gladly take care of him until we find him the best home. But he's a real sweetheart and he deserves a better life!!!
