About Willow

Meet Willow! Willow is a stunning 2-year-old Chessie/German Shepherd mix with a loyal heart and deep devotion to her people. Once she bonds with you, she becomes the kind of dog who wants to be by your side for everything-whether it's a walk, a hike, or relaxing together at home. Willow is incredibly smart and eager to please. She already knows many obedience commands, is crate-trained, house-trained, and respectful in the home. She loves fetch, outdoor adventures, and soaking up affection (especially back scratches!). Willow walks well on leash with a confident, experienced handler and has made great progress in foster care. Because she can be fearful when encountering other dogs on leash, she'll do best with an adopter willing to continue building her confidence and working through some leash reactivity. To help set Willow and her adopter up for success, Ollie's Angels Animal Welfare Society will fund a professional training session for Willow and her new family. Willow would thrive in an adult-only home (or with kids 13+) and may do best as the only pet or with calm, well-matched dogs. Willow is currently being fostered in Santa Clarita, and transport may be arranged for the right home.
