After 5 months of dedicated training in foster care, Penny is a beautiful 2-year-old, Chessie/German Shepherd mix, ready for her forever person. Penny is a dream companion-calm and obedient at home and in a secure yard, with a loving, loyal nature and a strong desire to make her humans happy. Penny is a total rockstar of a dog-smart, eager, and incredibly in tune with her person. She's a fast learner who already knows all her basic commands, including sit, down, shake, stay, heel, wait, come, and touch. On leash, Penny shines with excellent manners and focused attention, making walks feel effortless. She's highly responsive, loves to engage, and truly thrives when she's working alongside her handler. If you're looking for a dog who's both brilliant and deeply connected, Penny is it. Ollie's Angels Animal Welfare Society has generously offered to fund a training session for Penny and her new adopters to help ensure a smooth transition into her new home.
