About Penny

Penny is a 2-year-old, 60 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever/German Shepherd Mix who lives for fetch and snuggles! She's housebroken, crate-trained, and a loyal companion. With training and structure, Penny has been thriving in her foster home for the past 4 months and has blossomed into a truly spectacular dog! She's a fast learner, eager to please, and has attentive obedience and leash skills. She gets along with adults, children over 10 years old, and med/large calm dogs. Penny is looking for an adopter who is ready to give her the structure, love, enrichment, and leadership an intelligent dog like her needs. She would make a fantastic adventure buddy, loves hiking, and pack walks with other dogs. She is playful and loves to fetch her ball, but also loves to snuggle when it's time to relax.
