Steeler Needs a Foster or Adopter by 1/10/26 to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Steeler is currently in Arkansas and must have a foster or adopter to secure his spot on the transport truck to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. Without a home commitment, he won't be able to make the trip. Steeler is available for adoption or foster starting Saturday, 1/10/26. Meet Steeler Steeler's story is one of loyalty and second chances. This 6-year-old labrador/Border Collie mix has spent his life as a family dog and is now looking for a new home due to his current family not having enough time for him anymore. He is ready to begin a new chapter filled with love, stability, and the attention he deserves and we would love to help him find that! Despite this transition, Steeler remains super sweet, affectionate, and easygoing. He is dog friendly, has previously lived peacefully with cats, and is kid friendly, making him a wonderful fit for many types of homes. Steeler loves sleeping with his people, playing chase with kids, and fetching a ball. He has a laid-back personality and is perfectly happy relaxing nearby, especially if snacks are involved. His current family describes him as very obedient. While he may not be shy at first, he warms up easily and bonds quickly. His only known fear is plastic bags, lol.
