We adopted Jazmine as a puppy, and she is now six years old. She is a Belgian/Black Mouth Cur mix with a gentle demeanor and a calm, affectionate nature toward people. She is healthy, has been evaluated by our veterinarian, and has no underlying medical issues contributing to her behavior. We currently have multiple dogs in our home. About three years ago, Jazmine began exhibiting sudden, unprovoked aggression toward our smaller dog. These incidents were not related to food, toys, or other known triggers and occurred without warning. Despite careful management and separation, there have been additional incidents, including a recent one involving an elderly dog we are caring for. She does however, get along well with our other Belgian who is the alpha in our pack. After consulting with our veterinarian, we believe the safest and most responsible option is to rehome Jazmine. We feel she deserves a home where she can live a better life than what we can give her due to our restraints.
