About Bear

Hello friends! My name is Bear, also known as Mr. Kissy face, king of the belly rubs. I'm an 8 yr old Pomeranian mix. I've had a rough time recently, losing my person has been hard and I'm a bit timid and unsure of the world. My foster Mahm has been helping me feel safe and build my confidence and now it's time for me to find my forever home! I'm neutered, UTD on vaccines, I don't take any medication and will have my senior blood work and dental next week. I'm housetrained too! I think somewhere quiet, predictable and low traffic would help me feel the most comfortable. I'm a ladies' man and would do best with a mom or 2 who were retired or worked from home. I can be somewhat wary of men, but with a calm approach and the promise of 2nd dinner, I think we could make it work. I'm highly food motivated and that's probably why I'm 'big- boned' at 14 lbs. I love my walks and would enjoy a secure outdoor space, because sometimes I run when I get scared. I might benefit from another calm dog in the home to help me build my confidence; I have shown no interest in the neighborhood cats.
