About Sandy & Oakie

Hello, FCCR friends! My name is Sandy and I'm here to introduce myself and my beloved brother Oakie - we're a bonded pair looking for our forever home together! I'm a pretty 8-year-old, 10-pound Yorkie girl, and Oakie is a handsome 12-year-old, 15-pound Yorkipoo boy. We've been through so much together and we absolutely adore each other! I love to play with Oakie all the time, and he's my very best friend in the whole world. We're both very adaptable to new situations and we fit right in wherever we go - as long as we're together! Let me tell you about us: I'm the sweetest girl who LOVES to give kisses - I'll shower you with the tiniest little kisses all day long! I love toys and will pounce on them and carry them around like little treasures. I also love all humans and enjoy being carried. Oakie is gentle, sweet, and a happy guy who walks around smiling! He's constantly listening to what's happening around him with his ears up, paying attention to everything. He loves belly rubs and will show you his belly for more - it's adorable! He also makes the cutest 'old man' noises sometimes for no reason that just make you laugh. We're both housebroken (though I still have occasional accidents in new places - I'm working on it!), crate trained, good in the car, and we're improving our leash walking skills with each walk. We're both extremely gentle when taking treats and very food motivated. Oakie is curious about what's happening in the kitchen at all times! We're friendly with other dogs but haven't been exposed to cats or kids yet. At night, we both sleep in bed with our foster mom. I take a pillow and make my own cozy bed, while Oakie cuddles for a bit then sleeps on his side. We're great companion dogs who want to be near our people always!
