Hello, my name is Kathleen. (Simba is on the left - Kiara is on the right) I really hate that I have to do this, and crying while typing, because I love my babies so much. My health isn't the greatest and they have just gotten to be too much for me to handle. I am unable to take them potty by myself cause if they see another dog, they pull bad and my body can't control them. We live in an apartment so they've only ever gone potty on a leash. One male, Simba'|aka Bub Bub, 9 yrs old (DOB 12/30/2017) and one female, Kiara'|aka Sissy, 6 yrs old (DOB 4/8/19). They are father & daughter. I've had Simba since he was 8 weeks old and Kiara since birth. I actually had to help deliver Kiara. They are both fixed but are not up to date on their shots. Simba has been having some issues with itching. Not sure what is wrong but he has scratched himself so much that he has bald and red spots on his rear end and face. He wears a cone every time we have to leave him alone. Prefer them to stay together but they don't have to be. Kiara is not friendly with other dogs or people outside of the apartment but if they are inside, she is okay with them. They are both good with cats and kids. They're around my 4 yr old grandson all the time. Simba is kinda scared of people but will eventually warm up to them once they're in the house for a while. He is okay with kids but doesn't want them to really touch him. He wants to deal with kids on his own terms (that's how he is with our 4 yr old grandson). Simba is not very friendly with other dogs but could possibly get used to other dogs if given the chance/introduced carefully. Simba will also come up to you (inside the apartment) and bark and sound mean but if you go to pet him, he backs up and won't let you. Once he gets to know you, he will let you pet him. He is also very ticklish on his backside near his butt. Kiara is not good with people or animals at all when she is outside but when people come inside, she doesn't have an issue with them at all. She will actually go after someone if she's not on a leash. She's very reactive about a lot of stuff. Kiara is also good with kids. She loves my 4 yr old grandson. Once they warm up to you, they're very lovable. They are my babies. They need a fenced in yard that they can run around in. I will NOT take them to the pound. I will keep them until I can find them a wonderful home. Would anyone be willing and able to give my babies a great home? You can contact me at this number or through my email: [email protected]
