About Pickles

Hello, With a very heavy heart, we are seeking a new, loving home for our German Shepherd, Pickles. This has been an extremely difficult decision, made after careful consideration of her needs and our family circumstances. Pickles was rescued from UGA Animal Care in 2020 and has been well cared for, with full veterinary and health records available. She is a beautiful, loyal, and affectionate dog who thrives on companionship and being close to her people. Recently, Pickles has shown mild agitation and posturing toward our grandbaby (no biting or physical aggression). Out of an abundance of caution, and due to an ongoing personal health issue, we believe she would do best in a different environment. Ideal Home: Pickles would be best suited for a calm, adult-only home or a household with older, dog-savvy children. She would thrive with experienced dog owners who can provide structure, patience, and plenty of affection. A stable, loving environment where she can be a true companion is our greatest hope for her. We are heartbroken but committed to finding the right home where Pickles will be safe, loved, and cherished. Thank you
