About Mr. Bill

Meet Mr. Bill! This 3-year-old dapper chap is looking for his furever family. He is your next loyal and loving sidekick, who loves to snuggle with his owner. As intelligent as he is handsome, he knows commands like sit, stay, lie down, and shake hands. He is an avid outdoorsman who loves lounging in the yard, running around, sniffing out new scents, and playing fetch. He has NEVER met a ball he didn't love chasing and bringing back. He is housebroken and crate-trained. As much as he loves being included in what's going on, it's very important that he has his own place to just chill out and process. Something he is very proud of learning is how to stay in his crate until you tell him it's time to come out. He is also leash-trained and loves going on walks or bike rides with his owner. He gets along well with most other dogs and has loved being best buds with our older lab, Molly, but will require a meet-and-greet with any dogs already in the home. He hangs best with grown-ups and needs a kid-free home. It takes Bill a while to warm up to new people, and he really needs structure (and patience) to successfully invite someone new into his inner circle of pals. But once you've been accepted, Mr. Bill is so loving and so loyal. We think that he would do best with an experienced dog owner who knows something about canine behavior. Having to re-home Mr. Bill has been a very difficult and heartbreaking decision. We recently added a baby to our family, and Mr. Bill needs a home without any littles. We've had him since he was a puppy, and he has stayed up to date on vaccinations and is also neutered. He does currently take Prozac daily, as a last-ditch effort to see if he could be okay living with a baby.
