I'm reaching out in hopes that someone is able to help me with an urgent rehoming situation. I am moving out of my home in two weeks (currently in open escrow with a signed contract) and into a townhome that cannot accommodate two dogs. I am also due to have a baby in one week, and my mother-my main support system-is currently on leave undergoing cancer treatment. Given these circumstances, I no longer have the ability or space to properly care for my dog, Dash, and I am seeking help as soon as possible. **About Dash:** * Breed: Husky * Born: Around November 2017 * Temperament: Extremely loving, gentle, and docile-very atypical for a husky * Personality: Not very vocal, loves constant affection and pets, very sweet-natured * Skills: Excellent hunter instincts, alert and aware but calm indoors Dash is a wonderful dog who thrives on love and attention. He would do well in a home or foster that enjoys an affectionate companion without the high vocal demands often associated with huskies. I can provide vet records and any additional details needed and am fully willing to help facilitate a smooth transition. Our local shelter is currently full, and I am doing everything I can to avoid any unsafe or heartbreaking outcomes.
