About Enzo

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to help with an urgent rehoming situation. Due to several major life changes happening at once, I am needing to relinquish my German Shepherd, Enzo, as soon as possible. I am moving out of my home in two weeks (currently in open escrow with a signed contract) and into a townhome that does not allow space for two dogs. I am also due to give birth in one week, and my mother-who would normally be my primary support-is currently on leave undergoing cancer treatment. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time, space, or support needed to properly care for him. **About Enzo:** * Breed: German Shepherd * Born: December 2017 * Temperament: Protective, loyal, and very loving - truly 'all bark, no bite' * Personality: Loves balls of all kinds, enjoys naps, and is very affectionate with his people * Health: Has ongoing skin issues (often described as 'elephant skin'); the cause is undetermined. He is currently on a strict grain-free diet to help manage symptoms. I want to be fully transparent that I do not have formal veterinary records available. These dogs were originally my former partner's pets, and while I willingly took them in years ago to ensure they were cared for, I no longer have access to their prior records. I am happy to answer any questions honestly and share everything I know about Enzo's health, behavior, and daily routine. Enzo deserves a stable home with someone familiar with the German Shepherd breed. Our local shelter is currently at capacity, and I am doing everything I can to avoid any unsafe or heartbreaking outcomes if I cannot place him soon.
