About Bonnie

German Shepherd / Siberian Husky
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Bonnie is a smart, energetic, and deeply loyal female German Shepherd who spent most of her young life as the devoted companion to a homeless individual living on the streets of Washington, DC. She greatly enjoys playing with other active dogs, toys of all kinds, and soft beds and couches, especially if she has a pal to cuddle with! Bonnie is a quick learner and mastered housetraining while in a short-term foster and did not need to be crated when home alone. She is happy to accompany you on adventures-hiking, exploring, and even splashing around at Shenandoah National Park are some of her favorites! Bonnie has learned basic cues such as sit and come and is working on her loose-leash walking skills. She prefers slow introductions, and once she feels safe, settles in comfortably and shows her affectionate side. Bonnie would flourish in an active home where she will be provided plenty of love, exercise, and mental stimulation. She would really enjoy a fenced in yard where she can run. Having a confident dog companion would be a bonus. Bonnie is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, healthy, and ready to find her new best friend to share life's adventures and joys. https://foha.org/pet/bonnie2025/ Instagram: @Pawsome_bonnie
