About Dottie

Meet Dottie! Dotte is a 4-year-old Bichon Frise, weighing 12 lbs, with a sweet personality and a fresh start ahead of her. She has a medium energy level-she enjoys activity and playtime but also appreciates downtime once her needs are met. Dottie gets along well with other dogs and cats and does best with school-age children or older. She enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Dottie came to rescue as a breeder release from a puppy mill, so she is still learning what it means to be a family dog. She is still working on housebreaking and is not leash trained or crate trained, and will need a patient, understanding adopter who can help her continue building confidence and skills. Dottie would thrive in a home that: 1.Has experience or patience with dogs new to home life 2.Can provide consistent routines and gentle training 3.Includes another friendly dog (a plus, but not required) 4.Has school-age children or older 5.Understands that former breeder dogs need time, kindness, and reassurance With the right home, Dottie has all the potential to blossom into a loving and devoted companion. An adoption fee applies. Dottie will be fully vetted, including spay, vaccines, and microchip. Dottie is currently being fostered in Mukwonago, WI.
