Meet Camie %A4 4 years old | 50 lbs | Lab / Beagle mix Camie is one of those dogs that quietly works her way into your heart and stays there. She's been with us longer than expected, and honestly, we're not sure why - she's affectionate, easy, and incredibly loyal to her people. She bonds deeply with her humans and truly wants to be with you, not just near you. If you work outside, walk land, do farm chores, or just spend a lot of time at home, Camie will happily make it her full-time job to keep you company all day. What Living With Camie Is Like Camie has a low energy level and is perfectly content lounging nearby, snoozing, or tagging along at a relaxed pace. New situations can make her a little anxious at first, but once she feels safe, she settles in beautifully. One of her sweetest traits? She softly grunts when she's being loved on or when you're preparing her food - a quiet little 'thank you' that melts hearts instantly. %90%BE Social Life 'ۢ Dogs: Loves them. She enjoys snuggling and playing and does great in a multi-dog home 'ۢ Other animals: Excellent with farm animals, including chickens and turkeys 'ۢ People: Warms up with a little time and then bonds deeply Her only small flaw is that if her favorite human is giving attention to another dog, she may gently push her way in. She just wants to be included. ٤%A0 Training & Manners Camie is easy to train and very food motivated. She knows: Sit 'ۢ Wait 'ۢ Outside 'ۢ Come 'ۢ Leash manners: Decent 'ۢ House trained: Yes - 100% with access to outside or a dog door 'ۢ Crate: Goes in willingly for meals and sleep 'ۢ Alone time: Does best left out of the crate - she's non-destructive and does great s The Little Things 'ۢ Car rides make her a bit nervous but she's improving 'ۢ Does best riding close to her person 'ۢ Favorite things: Food, her human, and sleeping nearby %8F Ideal Home Camie would thrive with someone home most of the time, a dog door, or a farm or rural setting. A physical fence is not required - with daily walks, she stays close to her person. From Her Foster Mom 'If money and room were no object, I would keep her.
