About Jeff

Oh my, if you have ever been blessed with a Jack Russel Terrier in your life you know that they are like little people, just covered in some fur. In Jeff's case, nice little wiry fur with the best little mowhawk. This picture doesn't do him justice, he is a little cutie!! Jeff ended up at a large shelter in Chicago when his owner died. He did not do well at that shelter, he was so scared, whale eyed and petrified in his kennel. Apparently he had a good life, he was much loved with his person, and shelter life was just too much for him. Since coming to our foster home, Jeff has settled in. He is a charming little guy, very loving and playful with the other dogs. He is also 100% housebroken(we don't say that often!!). He LOVES to snuggle, his best day, especially this time of year,is on a warm lap. Jeff is silly, happy, playful, but also cautious of new people. He adores his people once he gets to know them. He will be better in a family without small kids. He is very active so he will not do well with long hours alone. He loves to go on walks, and would adore a person to join him on those excursions.
