
Dalton along with his littermates were rescued and trapped by the river after being dumped and left to starve. He is approximately 8 months old. He is small for a German Shepherd and will likely stay small around 40-50 pounds once fully grown. The pups were terrified when rescued but they are def loving being loved on and are engaging in play. Dalton is smart and so very adorable. He is well-suited for households with dogs, provided introductions are conducted properly. He is enthusiastic about playing and engaging in activities - currently undergoing leash training. He is affectionate, loyal, and eager to please he would make a wonderful family addition. Responds well to positive reinforcement training and adheres to consistent routines. To ensure Dalton's happiness in his permanent home, the following criteria must be met: An active household with ample time for daily exercise and enrichment. A commitment to ongoing training and socialization. A caring family willing to provide patience, consistency, and unconditional love. - Ideally suited for a household with another companion dog or an individual who is frequently at home.
