About Jack

Jack is an eight year, male, scruffy, white, Jack Russell mix who weighs 10lbs. Unfortunately, Jack has already been through rescue a couple of times. No fault of his, just situations changed. Here he is again: homeless. Jack's most recent owner of several years went into Hospice last week. The dog was left alone in the house. The only family members live up north, so they called the police and animal control. Poor Jack was taken to animal control with no one able to pick him up. Jack's original rescue contacted us and asked us to get him out of animal control. What a sad situation for Jack. Jack is a happy boy. He is very well socialized, walks well on a leash, house trained, gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats. His mommy loved him very much, but unfortunately, had no back up plan for Jack. No family in Florida, no one set up to care for Jack. This happens way too often and these sweet babies end up confused and often euthanized. Luckily, Jack's original rescue group contacted us and we picked Jack up once the family released him. Adoption fee $300
