About Ruger

At 8 years young Ruger has perfected the art of being a calm, low maintenance gentleman�'�| with just a touch of a playful flair. He's great on a leash and doesn't pull on it at all, making walks with him smooth and relaxing. Ruger appears to already be potty trained and carries himself with a laid back, low energy vibe. He's also a pro at sitting on command. He's got an independent streak and is happy to amuse himself, but he's also friendly and enjoys being pet. He has a quiet confidence that makes him wonderfully easy to spend time with. Just bring out a squeaky toy and you'll see a hint of his previous party pup life shine through. He still gets excited - dancing, prancing, and offering an adorable 'old man' hop of joy. While he doesn't always actually want to play with them, the squeak alone is enough to make him light up.
