Yara is very smart. She is fully trained and does not chew anything or have accidents. She is a great listener - you can even tell her all your problems. She is a bit 'emo' - she likes to be in your space but does not always want to be cuddled or touched - she isn't agressive about this, she just gets up and moves away. Yara is pretty lazy. She just recently started playing fetch but only if she likes the ball you throw. She would rather sit outside by a fire and observe her surroundings. Her favorite thing to do lately is watch squirrels play in the trees. Yara needs a home where she is the only pet. She does not do well with dogs and she has never been around cats. She has also never been around small children. She has grown up with myself and my son who was 10 when we got her. Ideally, she needs someone who has the time to walk her and hang out with her - someone who is looking for a companion (but just one). Yara is fully trained as mentioned earlier. She was crate trained but I haven't put her in one in the last 3 years as she does not misbehave in the home. She is okay on a leash, but not great as she gets very worked up around other dogs so I only walk her when others are not around. Yara is spayed and is fully up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is also microchipped so we will need to adjust that contact information. Her last check up was last month and she is in great health, maybe a little over weight but nothing they considered a problem.
