(willing to drive up to 3 HRS ). 3.5 Y/O MALE GSD, AKC PAPERS BUT NEVER REGISTERED (DOB: 2/?/22). His name is ' LUCCA BEAR'. Background: Current Shepherd Parent got Lucca when weaned from a breeder. UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. UNKNOWN with kids. Good with dogs he knows, REACTIVE to other dogs. Lives with other dog and no issues. Good with cats, lives with one cat and no issues. House trained. NOT Crate trained, has not used in years because he is trained to Free Roam and has good behavior when left out and alone. Any known medical issues?: NO. ENERGY LEVEL: HIGH. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: LOW. Weighs 100 lbs. Currently on 'Science Diet Lamb and Rice + Fresh Pet Beef and Bison with Blueberries' food. Good with car rides?: YES. Socialized with: *people?: YES. *dogs?: YES, REACTIVE. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): YES. Very territorial of person and home, so does much better when not in his own territory. He is hesitant at first and needs time to warm up with Proper Introductions. He is Reactive to people coming through the door or down the stairs. Loves: balls are his absolute favorite - going on long walks - ear scratches - being near his person - chilling on the couch - playing with dogs that he knows - Chuck it balls - playing fetch - sleeping in bed with his person - chew bones - squeaky toys. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: YES+ SPECIAL TRAINING: Basic Obedience + Socialization . *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH):YES . *Good on a Leash?:YES, but very strong if he sees another dog (Reactive) . *Lovable?: YES. *Eager and fast learner?: YES. Bite History?: NO, but unpredictable Aggressive behavior to adult daughters and son-in-laws who visit/stay in the home. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'He is very sweet and lovable when alone with my husband and me. Loves to wake you up in the morning by licking you - loves morning pets after he potties. Will put his head on your lap for lovings' . Re Homing because�'�|: The Current Shepherd Parent's daughter is pregnant and they are very uncomfortable with the thought of the baby being around Lucca Bear with him showing these aggressive behaviors and feel if is best to re home him. It seems like Luccaa is triggered when people come through the door or down the stairs and startles easily. Lucca Bear will be a great companion for the right person. Will thrive best�'�|?: in a loving home with NO kids due to him being easily startled/triggered. Someone who does not have a lot of visitors. Someone who has time to spend with Lucca and work through his Territorial/Trigger Issues. Someone preferably that will NOT crate him since he is almost 4 and used to Free Roaming the home.
