About Zoey

Zoey is an almost 4 year old Malinois Shepard mix (02/22). She has a very high energy drive and would love a home with a dog of a similar drive. Our lab is lazy and doesn't like to play. Zoey likes to protect our chicken flock from the outside of the run and will capture anyone that gets out of the run. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, shake, bed and she is crate trained. She needs a home that is more familiar with a high energy breed and has the time and energy to play with her, walk her and get her energy out. She is not a bad dog but she is not a good fit for our family due to her energy level. She prefers to be outside,but wants you to be outside too. She has anxiety with the vet and getting her nails trimmed. The vet gave us the 'chill protocol' and that helps. She likes to play fetch, go for car rides, bully sticks, bones and nerf balls.
