I have two Belgian malinois dogs available for adoption. Daisy (left) is a 5 year old spayed female. She is incredibly loyal, and would make someone a phenomenal family dog. We have had her since she was a puppy, and love her dearly. The last two years we have been integrating farm animals into our lives as a means of transitioning our livelihood. Daisy unfortunately has a high prey drive and can no longer be trusted around small livestock. We have lost several sheep and goats to her, along with numerous chickens. She is a fierce protector and extremely loyal to her humans, especially children. Daisy does well with other dogs after proper introduction. She has never had an issue with our cats. After having puppies she has become slightly food aggressive towards other animals, but never with people. Shadow (right) is a 1 year old intact male. He has nerves of steel, and is un-phased by loud noises and has an extremely low startle response. Shadow is a very low energy dog compared to the typical malinois standard. He would make an excellent house dog, as he is not destructive, and is extremely snuggly. He does well with other dogs, cats, and chickens. Unfortunately he has followed Daisy's lead and is no longer trustworthy with livestock; though I'm sure with some training and time could learn to be around them without issue. Both dogs are proven protectors to predators, and very loyal to their family. They are not required to go to the same home. Daisy has a more dominant personality, and Shadow is very submissive. Please contact me with any questions. Adoption fee is $250 per dog to ensure they go to a good home. We love them dearly and hate to part with them, but with our livelihood on the line, we can no longer keep them.
