A Prayer for Billie This post is going out with hope and a whisper to the universe that Billie's hero sees this tonight and says: 'She's mine. I will save her.' She was abandoned by the owner she loved the most-the human she trusted with her whole heart. And yet, even after being left behind, she still chooses love. She still wags. She still hopes. That tells you everything you need to know about her soul. BILLIE NEEDS A NEW FOSTER OR ADOPTER , SHE HAS UNTIL TOMORROW Without a safe place to land, her story could end before her second chance even begins. We can't let that happen. Not her. Not now. Not after all she survived. A month ago, Billie, her sister Jean, were dumped outside Bay Street Animal Hospital. Staff watched in horror as the owner dragged them from the car like trash and sped away. The dogs, terrified and tangled together by their collars, bit each other in a blind panic, fighting to break free. The vet team had to sedate them to separate and untangle them. Three sweet dogs left confused, hurting, and betrayed. These poor babies they didn't deserve any of this. Who Is Billie? She's the fun-loving, goofy, people-adoring girl who spent her recovery making friends with every vet tech, nurse, and volunteer who crossed her path. She showed off her playful tricks, including her medal-worthy talent for counter surfing -a behavior easily redirected by someone who understands high-spirited dogs and gentle training. She is: * Easy to leash * Lovely to walk * Soft, sweet, gentle on strolls * A true fan of humans * Full of playful, gregarious charm The shelter recommends she be your only dog due to the previous altercation, but honestly? Once you meet Billie you'll realize one Billie is more than enough love for a lifetime. She even has a movie! And yes, it will make you smile through tears) send me a text I will send it .
