%90%BE Looking for a loving home for FIL%8DPEK Miniature Pinscher-type mix | male | 8 years old | 8 kg Filpek came to us together with his brother Ruda on September 17, 2025. Their owner arrived at the shelter in the evening without any prior notice, took the two dogs out of the car, and simply said she could no longer take care of them. When we saw their condition, there was no hesitation. We signed the surrender papers and took both boys in immediately. ٩ Health & background Filpek was in very poor condition when he arrived. He was almost hairless - his coat was extremely sparse, of poor quality, and present only in small patches. His skin was fragile, dry, itchy, and irritated. At the beginning, he also suffered from bloody diarrhea. Blood tests revealed long-term nutritional malnutrition. An ultrasound later showed a mass on his spleen, and Filpek immediately underwent a splenectomy. The removed tumor was sent for histology. He is still scheduled for: neutering dental treatment (his teeth are in very bad condition) Currently, Filpek is recovering in foster care. He is on a special veterinary diet and enjoys a little 'spa treatment' twice a week using a medicated shampoo to help his skin heal. %90 Personality & behavior Despite everything he has been through, Filpek is a cheerful, lively, and curious little dog. Very active, loves being outdoors and going on trips Friendly and eager to meet other dogs outside - sometimes too enthusiastic Not every dog appreciates his intensity; he could get into scuffles with his brother Best suited as an only dog or with a calm female dog House-trained, has never destroyed anything at home Walks well on a leash When left alone, he may bark or whine Extremely curious and clever - will jump onto tables or cabinets to see or reach what he wants A true little 'monkey' with lots of personality %8F Ideal home We are looking for a loving, patient, and caring home for Filpek. He has not experienced much kindness in his life so far - now it's time to make up for it. His future family should be ready to: provide ongoing care and attention respect his medical needs enjoy an active, curious little companion Adoption status Filpek will be adopted out: vaccinated against rabies microchipped treated against parasites neutered with dental work completed Filpek is a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's survived neglect, illness, and major surgery - and still wakes up happy and ready for life. Now he just needs someone to show him what a safe, loving home truly means.
