About Lil Bro

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

What better way to start 2026 then to have my first post of the #NewYear be about a cat On 12/17/25 a goofy Siberian Husky named Dak and a cat named Lil Bro were left abandoned in a hotel room for a few days before Animal Control Officers were alerted to the situation. Dak needed urgent rescue due to his large mass that ruptured and a few organizations & close friends inquired about Lil Bro the cat as well, who was originally marked 'not friendly' and placed as a 'working cat' rescue candidate. Since people were interested in helping both Dak & Lil Bro I spent several days with Lil Bro, during that time he actually opened up quote a bit proving to everyone that he was in fact a 'house cat' that wasn't adjusting to the confines of shelter life. I am beyond grateful that Dak found a rescue to help him since his case was very critical, I am also happy to report that due to the progress the cat Lil Bro has shown when hanging out in my office he has also been approved for adoption! Lil Bro presents himself as a slightly insecure cat at the shelter, BUT definitely shows off his #ChillVibes in a quiet setting, enjoys pets & interactions with people once comfortable, and (most importantly) lived in a hotel room with a #SiberianHusky for 7+ months before being abandoned & confined alone together! It would be great to see Lil Bro find a nice #PlaceToCallHome given all that he's been through as well. HI!
