About Merlin

Merlin is an approximately 13 years-old mini blue merle Australian shepherd. He is a sweet dog and mostly likes to lie around the house and stay close to someone because he is now quite blind (he was somewhat blind and his hind legs are stiff. He and Fagan (the little dog in the picture) were my wife's dogs. My wife died a year ago, and I over the year I had to admit that I just can't keep them. My life is changing (financially, time, possible move that I can't take them) and I can't keep up. Fagan will be on another listing. Merlin loves to be petted, is very affectionate, and loves to eat. I have him on Costco's Healthy Weight food now. He needs very little except someone to have patience with him, love him, keep him fairly close, and give him a treat every once in a while. I believe Merlin's shots are all up-to-date but I don't know for sure. He needs grooming periodically because his hair matts easily. I think he would be absolutely fine with cats but we never had a cat.
