About Poppy

NOTE: I WILL TRAVEL TO BRING HER TO YOU. Poppy is a spirited 9-month-old Shepherd mix who is the perfect blend of sweet-natured and high-achieving. She's healthy, spayed, microchipped, and UTD on her shots. I'm heartbroken but I have to rehome her because of a health diagnosis (mine, not hers). She is as brilliant as she is athletic; she loves solving puzzles and mastering commands. She is an ideal candidate for agility training! While Poppy is quite playful and enjoys the company of other dogs, she has a soulful, cautious side. She takes life a little more seriously than your average pup and looks to her person for guidance. She thrives on clear, kind leadership, which helps her blossom and show off her lively, affectionate personality. Poppy is looking for an active, experienced owner who enjoys training as much as she does. She is excited by squirrels and bikes, so she needs a partner dedicated to her leash work. She's a 'people dog' who wants to be by your side most of the time (and is a great car-ride buddy!). She would be thrilled to have a confident dog sibling to play with, but she is looking for a cat-free and young-child-free home where she can truly relax.
