Honey is a sweet and loving girl who needs a good home. We found her in Mount Olive at a gas station on Hwy 49. She's very lovable and loyal. She's a great guard dog and patrols our property when she's outside. We have a boat load of smaller medium sized dogs and she's great with every one of them. She's playful and gentle with the little dogs. We also have a bunch of rescue cats outdoors and she's equally awesome with them. She doesn't ever chase them and she leaves their food alone for the most part. She is fully house broken as well. We would love to keep her, but with the gaggle of animals we already have and care for, and our busy 50 hour plus work weeks. We simply do not have the time she deserves to devote to her. Honey is a working dog, and would do great if cart trained, or trained for a purpose. She's walks well on a leash and aims to please. She's a little gun shy with load noises. And doesn't really care for cars to come by when we are walking her, but given her history living at a Keith's Super Stop, it's understandable. Honey would do great in a home with children or as a companion to an elderly person. Honey does so good with other animals she'd be great on a working ranch, as she's very intelligent! Shes a devoted girl who aims to please! She is also a hug snuggle bug and loves to relax in a big dog bed, or up on the bed with her human. We really aren't looking for an adoption fee. We just want her somewhere safe for her and a furever home. Or with a reputable rescue. She needs to be vetted. And if the right person, fit and home come along, we will be happy help take care of the vet fees to have her spayed and vaxxed.
