About Rambo

Rambo was saved just an hour before he was going to be killed from a high kill shelter in Los Angeles, California. He is now safe and at our rescue while we find him his furever home. Rambo is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is 4-5 years of age & about 78 pounds. He has such a unique high curly tail so he must be an interesting mix of something else too. He has met the other dogs and goats here and has gotten along very well with them all. We do not know about cats though. Rambo is one of the most mellow and easy going dog. He is sweet, calm, loving & gentle. He has a great disposition. If you have a love for nature and physical activity Rambo would enjoy sharing your passion for rambling on trails and exploring the great outdoors. When it's time to wind down, he would love to relax next to you and snuggle up close. Notes from a shelter volunteer: Rambo entered the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, as a 'stray' in August. I gave him a bath, and his coat glows. A big boy who is easy to handle despite his size. When he was in the shelter he was in several playgroups and did very well with other dogs.
