At just 2 years old, this handsome Boxer/Pit Bull mix weighs around 70 pounds and brings a whole lot of love, intelligence, and personality wherever he goes. Bowser is brilliant, energetic, and affectionate. He absolutely adores kids, but because of his strength and enthusiasm, supervision is recommended around younger children. He gets along well with some dogs, but he would truly shine as an only dog, where he can soak up all the attention. Bowser is convinced he's a lap dog and will happily try to cuddle his way into your heart (and your personal space). He's also quite vocal and loves to 'talk back,' which is endlessly entertaining and makes his personality really stand out. This smart guy already knows several commands, including sit, come, off, heel, no, and lay down. He is fully house-trained with no accidents and is very comfortable in a crate-he even sleeps in one regularly. If you love to run, Bowser might just be your perfect match. Running is his favorite thing in the world! He also loves chasing a ball and playing tug-of-war and will happily keep going long after you're tired. He needs plenty of space to stretch his legs and burn off energy. Bowser would do best in an active, structured environment. He'd especially love having an active older child or teen (around 13 years old) to run and play with.
