Adoption Fee: $450
Lab
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Wally is a 17 month old, yellow lab mix. He is up to date on his vaccines, deworming, is neutered, and is microchipped. He was brought to a shelter in TX when he was only two days old. He grew up in the Shelter system his whole life until he was put into a training academy to help shelter dogs get adopted. There he learned- Sit, Down, Place, Come, Paw, Spin, Turn, Target, Touch, Tug, off leash Heel outside, Automatic sits for heel, Door Manners, Crate, 6 different Home Manners, Puppy push ups, heel dance, Play Dead, Hide, Hold, 'Night night' Send to place at 30 feet. Sit duration 3 minutes, Down duration 7 minutes, Place duration 11 minutes. E-Collar Training. Scent work. Off leash recall from 30 feet including a Finished Recall Clusters (they do this while touching 2 other dogs) with sitting or in a down or on place with time durations. He is also potty trained. He is beyond sweet. Loves toys. Loves treats. Loves his sweaters. He patiently waits by his sweater drawer every morning before I let him outside. He loves to snuggle and at night he will sleep through the entire night snuggling with me. He also is a deep sleeper so he won't leave if you move too much which is nice. He also snuggles with you in a way where both of you are very comfortable. In the morning he never wants to get out of bed. He always wakes up with this grumpy little face, which is adorable. He actually has a lot of different facial expressions that makes your heart melt. He is a very quirky guy. He is weird but in the best ways. One example is when he stretches he always slides backwards. He really enjoys playing with other dogs. He is always very appropriate with playtime. He does play a lot with his paws and I've noticed some dogs find it weird. Wally when he's done playing he likes to go and lay down. Same thing with training. He does a great job, but he has his limits. You will find him petitioning to sun bathe when he wants to be done. He can be a little shy at first, but after a bit of time he really warms up to you. Wally feeling safe with you is so rewarding. He gets so excited when he sees you and when he's heeling, he just walks the whole time looking up at you and smiles. He is a very sweet quirky boy and I'm hoping he goes to a home that really loves on him. He had a really hard beginning and deserves so much.
